Library Info for Parents

Welcome to the Bartlett Media Center Parent Page!

The Bartlett Media Center is committed to providing a rich and interactive library experience for students, staff and community members at Bartlett School.

It is our goal that students
  • access, evaluate and interpret information
  • explore, create, collaborate and share information and ideas with others
  • develop a love and appreciation of literature and reading.
Your child will be coming to the media center twice per week.  Once/week is for book check out and lessons in the library.  (This is when we will be doing library centers, too.)  The other time is for computer technology classes.

Here are some basic expectations about the media center.
They are the same as throughout the school:

Be safe:

Walking feet to the library and in the library.
Quiet voices.
Following directions on the computer.
Reporting to an adult if you accidentally click on something you didn't mean to.

Be respectful:

Treat others the way you want to be treated.
Treat the materials in the library like they are your own.

Be responsible:

Return books on time.
Take care of the books.
Take care of the computers and other materials in the library.

We are here to help your child.  If ever you have a question or concern, do not hesitate to call or email:  bmcnamee@goffstown.k12.nh.us.
