Welcome back to School!

My name is Mrs. Wright and I am very excited to be your new Library Media Specialist. I can't wait to help you find new books, help you with your projects, and help you with technology. I want to get to know each of you and find out what you like to read and what are your favorite activities.

Ms. McNamee is now a First Grade Teacher. I am very thankful that she has been helping me learn how she managed the Information Center.

I will be in the Information Center on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00am until 2:30pm.

Mrs. Larochelle is here from Monday through Friday from 8:30am until 11:30am.

Earth Hour is Coming

March 26, 2011 is Earth Hour when we remember to turn off our lights for one hour to conserve energy. To find out more watch this video.

Thank You for the Book Fair

Each year Bartlett holds two book fairs. Much of the money from the book fair comes directly to the library in books as well as other items that can be purchased for the library from Scholastic. This past Spring book fair yielded $1100 in books. Some of these are library books and others are books that will be used in the book room for classroom use.

We are very grateful for this support. New books are hot ticket items in the library. Children want to read the new books. Thank you for providing us with a fresh supply.
